Miami Christian's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cristo Rey Monarchs. The Victors not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Miami Christian took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-10.

The win got Miami Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Cristo Rey, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Miami Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Hialeah Educational Academy on the 29th. As for Cristo Rey, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Horeb Christian at 4:00 p.m. on September 8.
