Basketball Recap: Kings Christian Crusaders vs. Riverdale Cowboys

The Kings Christian Crusaders stacked a 21st blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 76-31 victory over Riverdale. Winning may never get old, but Kings Christian sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

It was another big night for Ronnie Roche, who scored 35 points along with seven steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Kings Christian's points. Elyas Miro was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.

Kings Christian pushed their record up to 25-2 with that win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.7 points. As for Riverdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Kings Christian will head out on the road to face off against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wonderful College Prep Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Riverdale, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Tribe at 8:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Chowchilla has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
