Tuttle got themselves on the board against Chickasha on Friday, but Chickasha never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Fighting Chicks 56-0. Tuttle got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carter Vanauken out in front who rushed for 134 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Donnie Schluter was another key pass catcher, picking up 68 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Tuttle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 246 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 163 rushing yards in six consecutive matchups.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Tuttle, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Schluter, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
