The Benet Academy Redwings narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Roman Catholic Cahillite 49-46. Those 49 points were actually the fewest the Redwings have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Benet Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Roman Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Benet Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. Joseph's Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Roman Catholic, they will venture away from home to challenge Hazleton Area at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
