Soccer Game Preview: St. Joseph D vs. Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool

The St. Joseph D Defenders will head out to challenge the Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool Nighthawks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for St. Joseph D's offense. They lost 8-0 to Heritage Christian on Tuesday. St. Joseph D have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool made sure to put some goals up on the board against Kansas City East Christian Academy on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lions a 4-0 shutout. Considering Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those four games. As for St. Joseph D, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

St. Joseph D suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Defenders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
