Softball Recap: Woodward Academy Find Success + How To Watch

While Woodward Academy's win against Holy Innocents Episcopal wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The War Eagles won by a run and slipped past the Golden Bears 10-9. The War Eagles haven't had any issues with the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Cymone Woodfaulk made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maya Aspes, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Kaitlyn Weeks was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
