Softball Recap: Higley Takes a Loss

Higley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Queen Creek Bulldogs, falling 15-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Ella Babcock made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Higley's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Queen Creek, their win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Higley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against ALA - Queen Creek on the 28th. As for Queen Creek, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Perry on the 28th.
