Inchelium and Republic are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but not for long. The Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Inchelium has now lost nine straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 5.

Inchelium had taken Selkirk down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Rangers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hornets have suffered against the Rangers since March 4, 2021.

Meanwhile, Republic didn't have quite enough to beat Northport on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Inchelium's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Republic, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Everything went Inchelium's way against Republic in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Inchelium made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
