Baseball Recap: Wheeling Park Comes Up Short

Wheeling Park lost to Morgantown on April 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Patriots came up short against the Mohigans, falling 10-1.

Wheeling Park's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Morgantown, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Wheeling Park will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East Fairmont at 5:00 p.m. on May 8. As for Morgantown, they will be playing at home against Robert C. Byrd at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
