Basketball Recap: Tempe Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Tempe had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 61-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crismon Rattlers on Wednesday. The Buffaloes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rattlers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Despite the loss, Tempe still got an impressive performance from Josiah Criss, who posted 28 points. Tylann Hendrix Meadows was another key player, putting up eight points.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tempe will host Coconino at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crismon, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Goldwater at 7:00 p.m.
