Carter Murakami turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Saturday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over 5.1 innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.
