Soccer Recap: Lyndon Institute Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lyndon Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Montpelier Solons. While losing is never fun, Lyndon Institute can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Vermont soccer rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Montpelier are ranked eighth).

Lyndon Institute's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Montpelier, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lyndon Institute is set to face off against their familiar foe U-32 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Montpelier will challenge rival Thetford Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
