Evans kept a clean sheet against Washington County on Tuesday. They blew past the Washington County Golden Hawks 10-0. Give the Knights' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Washington County from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Wren Chochol led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Evans' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three matches. As for Washington County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evans will square off against Effingham County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Evans knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Effingham County likes a good challenge. As for Washington County, they will challenge Dodge County at 5:30 p.m. on March 4th.
