Having just played yesterday, the Yulee Hornets will get right back to it and host the Fernandina Beach Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Yulee knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Fernandina Beach likes a good challenge.

On Thursday, Yulee made easy work of West Nassau and carried off a 72-47 win. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 24 points or more this season.

Fernandina Beach had a senior duo take command as Jake Aronowitz posted 18 points in addition to six boards and four steals and Miles Townsend went 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points and five assists. Aronowitz continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominik Dunlap, who put up six points and five steals.

Yulee's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Fernandina Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.
