Lotus School For Excellence came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Loveland Classical, but Kaelyn Doan wouldn't allow it. The Loveland Classical Lions took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 56-21 victory over the Lotus School For Excellence Meteors thanks in part to Doan, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 15 steals. The contest was her third in a row with at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Keira Doan, who posted eight points and five steals. She is becoming a predictor of Loveland Classical's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 4-1 (and 6-7 when she doesn't).

Loveland Classical pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to assists: they averaged an imposing 11.25 assists in those games compared to only 11.25 in the others. As for Lotus School For Excellence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Loveland Classical didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 32-26 victory against Denver Jewish Day on the 18th. As for Lotus School For Excellence, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 43-23 win against Victory Prep Academy on the 18th.
