Baseball Recap: Henry Hudson Admirals vs. Dunellen Destroyers
Henry Hudson fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Dunellen on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Destroyers by a score of 2-1. The Admirals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Destroyers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

David Ortore was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Ortore was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and one stolen base. The Destroyers are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
