Football Recap: Zephyrhills Christian Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Discovery Spartans on Friday as they made off with a 36-14 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 22 points or more this season.

Zephyrhills Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Malachi Hairston, Josiah Lazardo, and Blake Alford picked up one apiece. Hairston's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 124 receiving yards. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Zephyrhills Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Discovery, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Zephyrhills Christian Academy nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
