Basketball Recap: Seminole Skates Past Westside with Ease

Seminole had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 34-point drubbing they dealt Westside on Saturday. The Seminole Seminoles breezed by the Westside Wolverines to the tune of 82-48. That looming 82-48 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Seminoles yet this season.

Several Wolverines players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylen Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Gary Hyde, who posted 11 points.

Seminole has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game.
