Basketball Recap: Sulphur Comes Up Short

Sulphur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lindsay Leopards, falling 51-29. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Leopards are ranked 43rd).

Sulphur's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lindsay, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Sulphur is taking a road trip to face off against Byng at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lindsay, they will welcome Pauls Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
