Volleyball Preview: East Jessamine Jaguars vs. Danville Christian Academy Warriors
After both having extra time off, the East Jessamine Jaguars and the Danville Christian Academy Warriors will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
East Jessamine took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past West Jessamine 3-2.
East Jessamine wouldn't go down easily and took West Jessamine into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 22-25, 21-25, 15-12.
Meanwhile, Danville Christian Academy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Garrard County back in September.
East Jessamine has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Danville Christian Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7.
