There's no place like home for Adams City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They never let the Skyview Wolverines onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leyla Jaquez made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
