There's no place like home for Freedom Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fayetteville Academy Eagles on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-18.

Tinley Franklin paced Freedom Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Franklin got some help from Abbi Poindexter and her 23 assists. Poindexter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Freedom Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Fayetteville Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Freedom Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against Wayne Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayetteville Academy, they will host Wayne Country Day at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
