Basketball Recap: Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

Luis Valdez Leadership Academy lost against KIPP San Jose Collegiate back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Luis Valdez Leadership Academy Lions were beaten by the KIPP San Jose Collegiate Wolfpack 68-23. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-15.

Luis Valdez Leadership Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing El Primero the next time they take the court. Luis Valdez Leadership Academy will head out to face El Primero at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while KIPP San Jose Collegiate will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
