Chavez is 9-1 against Franklin since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Chavez Titans will welcome the Franklin Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. Franklin took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Chavez, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, it was close, but Chavez sidestepped Stagg for a 45-43 win.

Meanwhile, Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-58 heartbreaker at the hands of McNair. One positive for the Yellowjackets, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Chavez's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Chavez took their win against Franklin in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 70-48. Does Chavez have another victory up their sleeve, or will Franklin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
