Softball Recap: Caddo Mills Takes a Loss

Caddo Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to the Ford Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Foxes have lost by exactly four runs.

Caddo Mills' loss dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Ford, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Caddo Mills will square off against Wills Point at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Wills Point has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.88 runs per game on average), something Caddo Mills will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ford, they will face off against Farmersville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
