Cornerstone Charter Academy entered their tilt with Winter Springs on Tuesday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Bears.

The team relied heavily on Olivia Hancock, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024.

Cornerstone Charter Academy pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Winter Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Cornerstone Charter Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Trinity Prep at 7:00 p.m. As for Winter Springs, they will be taking part in a tournament against Osceola at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
