Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Huntland was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 252 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cascade only rushed for 22.

One reason for the win was Huntland's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Cascade's QB won't forget Smith anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

The victory got Eagleville back to even at 2-2. As for Huntland, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything came up roses for Eagleville against Huntland in their previous meeting back in September of 2023 as the squad secured a 35-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eagleville since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
