Basketball Recap: Stillwater Christian Skates Past Cut Bank with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stillwater Christian). They blew past the Cut Bank Wolves, posting an 81-41 win.

Stillwater Christian's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Micah Strobel, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine steals. The dominant performance gave Strobel a new career-high in steals. Elijah Linn was another key player, going 9 for 16 on his way to 23 points and five rebounds.

Stillwater Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive contests dating back to last season.

The victory got Stillwater Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Cut Bank, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Stillwater Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-40 win against Shelby on the 14th. Cut Bank will take on Fairfield in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on December 21st.
