Baseball Recap: Northbridge Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Auburn, Northbridge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Oxford Pirates get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Ryan Miley was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Jake Costello was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

The win got Northbridge back to even at 1-1. As for Oxford, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Northbridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Millbury at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Oxford will square off against rival Uxbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
