Fishers skates past Chesterton with ease

Recap: Fishers Tigers vs. Chesterton Trojans

The Fishers Tigers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 74-42 win over Chesterton. Considering Fishers has won five contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fishers to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keenan Garner, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Garner's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Taden Metzger, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 19 points and 0 assists.

Fishers' victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Chesterton, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Fishers will stay at home for another game and welcome Pike at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Pike is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Chesterton, they will head out on the road to face off against Merrillville at 7:00 p.m. on January 6th. Averaging 65 so far this season, Merrillville's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Chesterton better be ready for a challenge.
