Baseball Game Preview: Ringgold Rams vs. West Mifflin Titans

For the second straight game, Ringgold will face off against West Mifflin. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Ringgold didn't have quite enough to beat West Mifflin and fell 2-1. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

For West Mifflin's part, Jackson Fite looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, West Mifflin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Fleming, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Fleming has hit this season.

The victory was the eighth in a row for West Mifflin, bringing their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ringgold, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
