San Augustine had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 47 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They managed a 46-41 victory over the Shelbyville Dragons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-23 back in January.

San Augustine found their leader in sophomore DeKhia Davis, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 16 points.

San Augustine is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Shelbyville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-12.

San Augustine and Garrison will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 6:30 p.m. on February 11th. Shelbyville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
