Baseball Recap: Carson's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Carson waltzed into their match on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Narbonne Gauchos. This was a revenge game for the Colts: when they faced off against the Gauchos back in March, they had to take a 7-6 defeat.

Sebastian Hernandez looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has become a key player for Carson: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most two hits, but 9-11 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kris Sinclair, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Xavier Allen, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

The victory got Carson back to even at 13-13. As for Narbonne, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-14.
