After two games on the road, Angola is heading back home. They will take on the Eastside Blazers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Things were looking good for Angola after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They were dealt a 42-14 loss at the hands of Garrett. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 140th, while the Railroaders are ranked 35th).

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Hawk Hasselman and Calder Hefty. Hefty had a great game and rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Meanwhile, Hasselman was balling out in the loss, rushing for 68 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 75 yards and a touchdown.
