Softball Recap: Bellevue Takes a Loss

Bellevue lost against Port Clinton back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Bellevue fell just short of Port Clinton by a score of 12-11.

Bellevue got a big performance out of Ariana Holzhauer, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Taylor Waldrup was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Bellevue's record is now 0-2. As for Port Clinton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellevue will welcome Vermilion at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Port Clinton, they will be playing at home against St. Paul at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
