Kellam had won eight straight games and Annabella D'adarria did her part to make it nine on Thursday. The Knights came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the First Colonial Patriots with plenty of help from D'adarria, who had ten digs and five aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Kellam was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 18-25, 25-19, 16-14.

Kellam's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for First Colonial, with the loss, they broke their nine-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-9.
