Softball Recap: Jackson County Comes Up Short

Jackson County lost against Rockcastle County back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Generals fell 9-6 to the Rockets.

Jackson County now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Rockcastle County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-12-1.

Coming up, Jackson County will venture away from home to challenge Leslie County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rockcastle County, they will welcome Southwestern at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
