The Riverside Generals will venture away from home to challenge the Wolfson Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Riverside made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Parker, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Riverside was the clear victor by a 25-10 margin over Parker on Tuesday. The Generals' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

C Emanuel was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (two). J Morgan also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, Wolfson got themselves on the board against ED White two weeks ago, but ED White never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Commanders with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Wolfpack have won six contests by more than 14 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Madison Saling and Addison Booher made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Saling tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Booher pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Saling has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. At the plate, Saling scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Booher went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Wolfson got a massive performance out of Isabel Nieves, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Sarah Wisniewski, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Wolfson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Wolfson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. Riverside's record is now 2-4.
Riverside might still be hurting after the 16-5 defeat they got from Wolfson when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Riverside avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
