After a string of six wins, Kenyon-Wanamingo's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They fell just short of Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial by a score of  2-1. Kenyon-Wanamingo was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial earlier this season, when they won  2-0.
 Audrey Haugen paced Kenyon-Wanamingo's offense, picking up 13 kills. Haugen got some help from  Kendal Johnson and her 19 assists.
Kenyon-Wanamingo's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenyon-Wanamingo will head out to  square off against Blooming Prairie  at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial, they will take on St. Clair at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
