Football Game Preview: North Bergen Bruins vs. Cliffside Park Raiders

The North Bergen Bruins will venture away from home to square off against the Cliffside Park Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cliffside Park took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on North Bergen, who comes in off a win.

North Bergen's offense will try to repeat the strong performance it gave on Thursday, when they got past Dickinson's usually-dominant defense. The Bruins strolled past the Rams with points to spare, taking the game 31-14. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

North Bergen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Dom Valazquez, Jayden David, and Michael Tapia picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Cliffside Park's offense. They were outmatched by Belleville and fell 36-0.

Cliffside Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Bergen, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

North Bergen and Cliffside Park were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but North Bergen came up empty-handed after a 27-26 loss. Can the Bruins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
