Football Recap: Jefferson County Falls to Taylor County in First Game of Season

Jefferson County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 14-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taylor County Bulldogs on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

The win got Taylor County back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Jefferson County will take on Rickards at 6:00 p.m. on March 3rd. As for Taylor County, they will square off against Santa Fe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
