Football Game Preview: Pine vs. Northlake Christian

Northlake Christian have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Pine at 7:00 PM. Northlake Christian come in off of seven low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Things haven't been easy for Northlake Christian, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. It was close but no cigar for Northlake Christian as they fell 3-6 to St. Thomas Aquinas last Friday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Pine, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They snuck past Independence with a 28-24 win. The Pine offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Northlake Christian have to be hurting after a devastating 6-28 defeat at the hands of Pine the last time the two teams met. Can Northlake Christian avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
