Softball Recap: Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Comes Up Short

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City lost against Christ Our Rock Lutheran back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats came up short against the Silver Stallions, falling 12-1. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Birgen Schlanser, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Christ Our Rock Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Silver Stallions beat Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City by a score of 18-1 later that day.
