Soccer Recap: Lordstown Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Lordstown was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Bristol Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Bristol this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in August.

Lordstown's goal came courtesy of Colton Hickman, who's now up to seven this season.

Lordstown's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Bristol, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Lordstown didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Pymatuning Valley on the 4th. As for Bristol, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 17-1 win against Garfield on the 6th.
