Stony Point has gone 9-1 against Hutto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Hippos at 6:30 p.m. Stony Point is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
Stony Point will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Vandegrift, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Tigers came out on top against the Vipers by a score of 3-1 on Friday.
While Stony Point might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Vandegrift scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 17-25, 25-23, 25-18.

Stony Point relied on the efforts of Addison Deba, who had 12 digs and three aces, and Lexi Boyer, who had 12 digs and six assists. Those six assists gave Boyer a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Hutto didn't have quite enough to beat Cedar Ridge on Friday and fell 3-2. The Hippos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Hutto took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-20, 26-28, 25-19, 15-11.
Stony Point's victory bumped their record up to 21-19. As for Hutto, their loss dropped their record down to 13-25.
Stony Point took their win against Hutto in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hippos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
