Basketball Recap: Pigeon Forge Skates Past Carter with Ease

There's no place like home for Pigeon Forge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 65-35 win over the Carter Green Hornets. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Tigers had established a 26 point advantage.

Carter lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Marah Yeo, who went 5 for 12 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Tolliver, who posted six points.

Pigeon Forge moved to 10-12 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Carter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Pigeon Forge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 41-39 win against Austin-East on the 4th. Carter has also already played their next game, a 46-42 loss against Knoxville Central on the 4th.
