Baseball Recap: Royal Comes Up Short

Royal made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Eisenhower, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-6 on Saturday. The defeat leaves the Falcons still looking for their first win of the season.

Royal's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Eisenhower, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-1-2 record this season.

Royal will head out on the road to take on Fort Bend Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eisenhower, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Channelview on the 23rd.
