Baseball Recap: Royal Takes a Loss

Royal is still winless after their game against Eisenhower on Saturday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eagles. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked the Falcons' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Royal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Eisenhower, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-1-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Royal will square off against Fort Bend Marshall at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eisenhower, they will challenge Channelview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
