Baseball Recap: White Plains Comes Up Short

White Plains lost against Cherokee County last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-3 to the Warriors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

White Plains now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Cherokee County, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-10-1.

Coming up, White Plains will face off against Piedmont at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cherokee County, they will venture away from home to face off against Alexandria at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
