Volleyball Recap: Bluffton Takes a Loss

Bluffton's tournament run continued when they took on East Mecklenburg on Saturday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Leading East Mecklenburg to victory were Cameron Sweeney and Sydney Leo. Sweeney had nine digs and one assist, while Leo had 19 assists. Those nine digs gave Sweeney a new career-high.

Bluffton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for East Mecklenburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Bluffton will be playing at home against May River on Thursday. As for East Mecklenburg, they are taking a road trip to take on Myers Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
